Starting from the courtyard of Hotel Herkko, the Fairy Tale Trail leads children and adults to the spectacular hills of Taivalkoski and the magical world of fairy tales.

The Fairy Tale Trail measures about a kilometre, and it has been called the longest storybook of the world.

On the Fairy Tale Trail, you can also enjoy nature: you can stop to pick berries, examine beard lichen or listen to birdsong. You can enjoy a picnic at the Seven Bears’ picnic table.
