Welcome to the peaceful shores of Lake Koitijärvi, a part of the Kostonjoki river system which is abundant in fish.

The well-equipped log cabin and beach sauna are located at a gently sloping sandy beach. You can row on the lake in summer, and fish in summer and in winter. The waterfalls of the Kostonjoki River are close by.

Nearby are good hiking terrains, incl. Soiperoinen and Pyhitystunturi with shelters, as well as extensive state lands for hunting (there is a dog kennel and a cage next to the cabin). You can go snowmobiling straight from the cabin.

Downstairs, the cabin has a bedroom and an alcove, two sleeping alcoves upstairs, underfloor heating, indoor toilet, shower cubicle, dishwasher, washing machine, TV, dishes, bed linen (linen + towels 15€/pp).

There is electricity in the beach sauna, but no running water.

In winter, you can request the beach sauna, sauna water and a hole in the ice to the prepared for you, e.g. in time for the evening of your arrival.

Children’s equipment available if necessary: a high chair, a cot, a safety gate for the upstairs staircase.
