Peaceful log cabin by Lake Loukusanjärvi

We offer cabin accommodation from June until the end of October, 30 km north of the centre of Taivalkoski. Our tranquil log cabin is located on the shore of pristine Lake Loukusanjärvi, surrounded by peaceful countryside.

Accommodation and facilities

Our cabin has beds for up to seven people, but due to its size, it is best suited for four guests.
The cabin includes a hallway, kitchen and living room, bedroom with two beds, toilet, washroom with an electric sauna, loft with five beds, and a covered porch where you can enjoy the evenings even when it rains.
The cabin has electricity and running water.

Heating and amenities

The cabin can be heated with electric radiators and a heat-storing fireplace. A limited amount of firewood is included in the rental price.

You can drive directly to the cabin, and there is plenty of parking space available.

Private beach and pier

The cabin has its own beach and pier. The lake gets deep quite quickly near the cabin, so the beach is best suited for older children and adults.

There are also shallower sandy beaches nearby that can be reached on foot or by boat.

Peace and privacy

The cabin is situated within the owners’ grounds but has a secluded location, offering guests plenty of peace and privacy.
