The Kylmäluoma Visitor Centre is located in the Kylmäluoma region, which is famous for its rugged fell and lake terrain. This area is perfect for hiking, fishing and hunting.  The hiking trails are loop trails which start next to the visitor centre. The most popular fishing destination is Iso-Pajuluoma, into which rainbow trout are released regularly. This is also an amazing area for hunters, as the visitor centre is surrounded by public hunting grounds.

Accommodation

A private cabin with a beautiful lake view? In the immediate proximity to the visitor centre, there are 25 log cabins of various levels of amenities. The largest cabins sleep 6 people, and they have running water and a shower, and some have their own sauna and fireplace.

The camping area has 60 powered sites, and a maintenance building and a summer kitchen available for use. The sauna in the maintenance building is heated every evening in the summer.

Beach saunas are heated by request, and are available for use in the summer.

Café Restaurant Kaakkuri

The café restaurant is open from March till the middle of October. In the summer season, we offer a delicious traditional lunch buffet every day, with other meals also available.  The restaurant is fully licensed.

Holiday activities

You can explore nature also without any of your own equipment. At the reception, you can rent canoes, kayaks, boats, mountain bikes, fat bikes and SUP boards.  You can also spend your summer days on a 9-hole disc golf course, which is about 1.5 km long and starts right behind the restaurant building.
