Situated on Lake Jokijärvi, Saija Lodge is available for accommodation, as well as restaurant and holiday activities by request around the year. The Saija lodge consists of traditional log buildings.
Accommodation
In our courtyard, there are 20 log apartments with saunas, for 2-4 people, 2 log cabins and 2 northern lights huts with a glass roof. Each apartment has a bedroom for two, a living room, a sauna and a toilet/bathroom.
Restaurant services
Saija’s kitchen relies heavily on local and wild food, as well as local food traditions. The main building and the hall can fit altogether about 100 people. For guests staying at the lodge, breakfast is included in the room price, with full board or half board also available.
Holiday activities
The surrounding nature offers great opportunities for all kinds of activities. In summer, these include paddling, fishing, hiking or bike trips. Saija has its own Husky farm, which makes dog sledding particularly popular in winter. We also organise snowmobile safaris as well as skiing, snowshoeing and fatbike tours. We also rent out equipment so that you can venture outdoors on your own.
