Taivalkoski has spectacularly scenic bike trails. You can create your own adventure, or make the most of local holiday activity businesses who organise guided bike tours and offer bike rentals.

Marked biking trails in Taivalkoski

• Taivalkoski (Ski Center) - Porraslampi - Pahkakuru – Taivalkoski: 27,5 km
• Taivalkoski – Kylmäluoma: 37,5 km
• Taivalkoski - Jokijärvi Kallioniemi: 34,1 km

Any sections of the trail that deviate from the regular hiking trails are marked with orange triangles painted on the trees. The hiking trails have rectangular markings in the same colour. Additionally, all junctions along the trails have guideposts for bikers. The trunk road sections do not currently have any markings.
